  Isaac's artwork is actually done by Tim Sale, a comic book artist known for his work on Batman: The Long Halloween, The Challengers of the Unknown Must Die, and Superman for All Seasons. The writer on these books was Jeph Loeb, an accomplished comic book writer who is also one of the executive producers of the show.
• Hiro and Ando are in the karaoke bar and there are two guys on the stage, wearing athletic apparel and singing a Backstreet Boys song, alluding to the Two Chinese Boys who became YouTube superstars for the very same act.

  Several characters are shown looking straight up at the sun during a partial eclipse. In reality they all would of suffered major eye damage in doing so. Niki, who uses a pinhole camera to view the eclipse is the only one who used a safe method of viewing.
