  • Jessica and D.L. head to New York to rescue Micah. D.L. shockingly kills Linderman with a phase through the skull.
  • Parkman, Sprague and Bennet arrive in New York.
  • Hiro's father reappears and tells him that now he knows his son is capable of controlling his power and helps him manage the Kensai sword
  • Sylar take's Ted Sprague's power.
  • Nathan wins the election.

WHERE IN THE WORLD?

  • The realization that Candice is not as vile as we thought she was-- she's convinced that Linderman can "heal the world." She's actually a heavy girl (Micah tells her, "I have a cousin who eats like you. He's huge." To which she replies, "So am I." Candice has been judged on her looks in the past, which is probably why she's so thin now, and often dresses like jailbait.

SYNOPSIS

*Peter , Ted and Claire prepare to leave New York and other heroes arrive as Sylar prepares to strike again.
*Bennet, Matt and Ted arrive in NY to destroy the new tracking system. Jessica/Niki helps DL to find Micah, and Claire decides not to leave NY and help Peter stop the bomb.

PLOT DEVELOPMENTS (BY CHARACTER)

Hiro Nakamura
Hiro Nakamura
Hiro finds himself distraught about failing to kill Sylar until he and Ando run into Hiro's father at a sword repair shop. Here his father tells him of his family's legacy as heroes, and that he is to continue the work he and others began long ago. He realizes due to a childhood story, that he must sacrifice his heart to save the world.

Meanwhile Ando leaves the shop to go after Sylar himself.
Claire Bennet
Claire Bennet		 Claire is reunited with her father, and realizes with Peter that he is not the one that is to explode. She and Peter leave with Ted to escape the feds and Sylar. Ted is captured as Claire and Peter escape.
Nathan Petrelli
Nathan Petrelli		 Nathan struggles with his choice to run for president or save the world until Linderman offers him a deal he can not refuse. (Heals his wife of her disability.) He later runs into Niki/Jessica and DL Hawkins, and then Hiro telling him that no one can stop the bomb. Wins his congressional election in an "unprecedented landslide".

Mr. Bennet
 He is reunited with Claire. Later he and Matt infiltrate LInderman's building to find the tracking device. They run into Jessica and D.L., only to realize that they both have similar goals. On their journey, they run into Thompson. HRG kills him, and plans to kill the device until he discovers it is a little girl. Mohinder then intercepts knocking Matt out and aiming the gun on Mr. Bennet, who aims his at Molly.

Niki Sanders
Joins D.L.in his search for Micah. Renuites with one time Jessica victim Parkman, shares a very awkward elevator ride w/t him and HRG. As Jessica is offered 20 million dollars with more to come if she kills D.L. for Linderman. Niki is able to regain control over Jessica and declines his offer. She helps D.L. after he is shot by Linderman.
D.L. Hawkins
 He and Jessica search for Micah winding up in Linderman's office. When Jessica is offered to kill DL for 20 million dollars, D.L. tries to reason with Jessica not to do it. DL then takes a bullet, protecting his wife. As Linderman prepares to kill Niki, DL reaches into his head, grabbing his brain and killing him.

Simone Deveaux
Simone Deveaux		 Deceased-Shot by Issac
Micah Sanders
 Giving in to Linderman's request, Micah and Candice venture to the polls. Using his power to talk to machines, Micah adjusts the poll percentages to let Nathan win by a 'landslide'.
Peter Petrelli
 Peter is reunited with his niece, Ted, HRG and Matt. Once he discovers that he can control Ted's powers, he, Claire, and Ted venture to a safe place until Peter realizes Sylar is following them. Ted is captured and Peter and Clarie escape. When trying to leave the city, they run into traffic; an overturned FBI truck with Ted in it--dead.
Isaac Mendez
 Deceased-Killed by Sylar



Matt Parkman
 Matt partners with HRG to destroy the tracking device. Once in, they run into Mohinder who knocks him out.
Mohinder Suresh
Mohinder finds the cure for Molly Walker's illness in his own blood. Stops HRG and Matt from killing Molly by knocking out Parkman and aiming a gun at HRG.

Sylar
official Sylar		 Sylar realizes his "destiny" in him being the exploding man. He tracks down Ted, stealing his radioactive power after getting him apprehended by the Feds. Has his first actual non-shadowy face to face with Agent Hanson under the psuedonym of Isaac Mendez. Practices with newfound ability on rooftop, cements super villain status.
