I don't think Peter died in the explosion, because he could draw healing power from Claire last minute. Therefore, I think he survived. Yes, the FINALE was a huge disappointment, the action was mediocre, and the emotions lacking!

Anybody find it funny/interesting that Stan Lee guest starred a few episodes back and everything in the finale happened at Kirby Plaza? Stan Lee's long-time writing partner is Jack Kirby.

I have to agree that the final scenes to the finale was a letdown. I was expecting a huge battle royale between all the characters as they try and save Peter from Sylar and then a last minute arrival of Hiro who battles Sylar to Sylar's death. Its a good show but disappointed by the lack of huge action that we all deserved for watching it. I hope they take that into account for next season's two story arcs!

Did anyone notice the trail of blood leading into the sewer? I really think they let people down for this episode. Skylar couldn't be killed by just stabbing him in the chest. You have to cut that man down at the head.

Why not just have the Haitian kill Sylar. Sylar is a dork who lived with his mother. Without his powers he shouldnt be too hard to beat.

It seems that just being near the Haitian prevents people from using there powers totally. In the last episode hiro mentioned to peter that the haitian was there and they were concerned because they couldn't use there powers around him. The Haitian might not have the strongest power but his powers neutralize others.
