POWERS

WHAT THEY MEAN

Teleportation, time travel, stops time

HOW HE GOT AND/OR DISCOVERED THEM

At work for his father's company realized he could stop the clock then managed to teleport himself to New York right before the explosion. Inspired his "mission" to save the world.

HOW HE USES THEM

Can effectively change the past by visiting an associate in the past or by going to the future and returning to the past.
He also has the ability to extend his power around someone he is touching.

Tried to use them to save Charlie from Sylar but was unable. Now intends to use them to stop Sylar from allegedly exploding and demolishing NYC.

Timetravelled to 1600 Kyoto Japan...

KNOWN VULNERABILITIES

"The Haitian" can neutralize his ability to freeze time. Is physically unimpressive, can be knocked out with one punch. Is a good person and refuses to kill Sylar even though he knows what Sylar has done and will do (his potential and breadth of power, as well as his potential destiny, conflicts with his apprehension of willingness to harm others). Lack of confidence. Also Future Hiro's temperament and emotional state revealed that the absence of Ando from his life (due to his death in the future reality) caused him to become cold, distant, and less exuberant. Therefore, Ando is a crucial part of his life, and is an emotional touchpoint for his confidence and the strength of his abilities, as well as his enegetic spirit.

EXTRAS

MOST MEMORABLE LINES (and funny conversations)

"Save the cheerleader, save the world."
"Yatta!
"I scare me."
"I'm dead" (concerning the death of Future Hiro)
''Don't-a worry New York. We will save you!!''
"How do stop an exploding man?"
" Vote Petrelli!"
"Up, up and away" (to Nathan Petrelli)
"Oh! Waffel! Wahoo!" (in the diner with Ando)
"I'm sweet !!!!" (in the diner afther Charlie says it to him)
"You are flying man Whoosh!" (nathan "would you keep it down?!?) *quieter* "Whoosh...."
(conversation between Hiro & Nathan) "V-veelon" "?" "Veelon" "Villian...?" "V?" "V" "VEELON!"

THINGS ABOUT HIM YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE NOTICED

In genesis (episode 1) Hiro is attempting to control the clock in his office space. When he suceeds he is very surprised and excited himself that he was successful. In a later conversation with Ando, he names the exact X-Men comic episode that a comic character stopped time so the pre-genesis question has to be ... Can Hiro teach himself any superpower he wants or did he have some type of random time fluctuation experience that led him to try specifically to manipulate time.

He is conscious of his ability to create a singularity effect as he stated in his first meeting with Peter on the train when he told him "Save the Cheerleader, save the world." Because of his inability to save Charlie, he is not sure that time travel will be able to change future events.

HIS PLACE IN THE 'HEROES' UNIVERSE

He is the ultimate messenger by being able to the reprecusion of events made in the past and even being able to slow or stop time so he can act by himself.

Possibly one of the most powerful Heroes.
