Micah plays an important role in Linderman's plans leading up to the day of the bomb. As expected, Micah was convinced by Candice (and Linderman) to enter the voting booth with Candice and manipulate the entire networked voting machines to give a landslide victory to Nathan in the election (an election he otherwise likely would've lost), thereby ensuring things continue to progress as Linderman had planned, thrusting Nathan into the congressional seat.
