WHAT THEY MEAN
No known powers
HOW HE GOT AND/OR DISCOVERED THEM
N/A
HOW HE USES THEM
While he himself has no powers, he is well adept with knowing how to utilize other peoples powers, As shown by his helping Parkman and Ted escape. Also saved Parkman, as his moral compass has fully righted itself from his blind loyalty to The Company, and he shot Thompson in the head before Thompson could kill Parkman.

His family is extremely important to him, with Claire proving to be his most significant emotional weakness.
MOST MEMORABLE LINES

All heroes mentioned to have been put into protective care by him in the episode "Five Years Gone" were killed by Sylar (as evident by Sylar's powers). |
HIS PLACE IN THE 'HEROES' UNIVERSE
Has proven himself to be adept at mentoring those with powers. Also was entrusted with protecting Claire as his "daughter" until she grew up and her powers manifested themself). Has inside knowledge, to some extent, of The Company (though found in "Chapter 21: The Hard Part" to be unaware that Linderman was pulling the strings) and is therefore capable of helping to bring it down.
